Materials & Process
Process
Our process begins with quiet observation and reflection. Time is taken to let ideas unfold slowly — to notice the curve of a shell, the grain of driftwood, the shifting light on metal and water. Inspiration often arrives through small details, through the patient act of looking. We draw from both nature and craft, from what the world reveals and what the hand can shape.
We work primarily with metal, wood, and stone, materials that speak of permanence and transformation. Each piece considers balance and texture, hue and weight, the meeting of raw and refined. Our aim is to create work that feels discovered rather than made — objects that carry the mark of the sea, the passage of time, and the quiet persistence of making.
Ethical Sourcing
We prioritize recycled precious metals and traceable stones. To the extent possible, we source as many materials with our own hands as possible through sustainable self-collection techniques.
